Southern & Redfern Ltd undertook the contract
for the refurbishment of the 8 storey Wakefield House Office
block.
This involved stripping out of the existing heating, domestic
services, lighting, power, fire alarms and the installation
of new services to replace the old.
Mechanical and Electrical
services provided were:-
• Provision of new floor by floor dedicated VRF heating and cooling systems.
• Ventilation to each floor via dedicated floor VAM units along with a
 central
core toilet and kitchen extract system.
• Domestic services, dry risers, and drainage to the landlord core areas.
• De-commissioning of the existing boiler plant.
• New lighting, small power, fire alarms, and sub mains distributions
to each
individual
floor.
