Southern & Redfern undertook the contract for
the fit-out of the fifth floor at Hardman Street, Manchester
over a 16
week period. This involved stripping out/relocation and re-installation
of the existing heating and chilled water pipework, domestic
water, ventilation, fan coil units, lighting, small power,
data, security and access control.
Mechanical & Electrical Services provided were:-
•
Provision of new and relocation of 2 pipe fan coil units
to suit the
 required layout from the Cat A shell.
•
Provision of new ventilation to each floor from the existing
ventilation
riser ducts and modifications to existing.
•
Domestic services and drainage extension to the new toilet
and kitchen areas.
•
BMS controls modifications to suit new layout and client
requirements.
•
New lighting and specialist/feature lighting, small power,
fire alarms,
floor void bus bar, and sub mains distributions to each individual
floor.
•
Standby generator and associated diesel fill line from basement
to level 14.
•
New data, access control and security installation to suit
the clients
bespoke requirements.
